The Leadenporch Trust is keen to support projects that are sustainable and demonstrate that a long term plan is in place to generate funds. We favour seed projects providing some initial funding where it is difficult for new projects to raise funds as they have nothing to show other than a plan. Such projects will have planned outcomes which will be stated on application forms by the applicants and agreed reporting of these outcomes will be necessary at agreed interim stages of the funding period. We support ‘Gap’ students who are using their time to help others. We also support individual needs brought to our attention through relationship or partner organisations but DO NOT respond to direct approaches for this purpose.

Our objects are summarised as follows:

(a) to advance the Christian faith

(b) to relieve persons who are in conditions of need or hardship or who are aged or sick and to relieve the distress caused

(c) to advance education in accordance with Christian principles
